Felix Goedhart (Chairman of the Supervisory Board)

After completing his studies in business administration at the University of St. Gallen (lic. oec. HSG) and the University of Chicago (MBA), Mr Goedhart worked for over four years at Booz & Co., a leading international consulting company, in Düsseldorf and Munich. Mr Goedhart served as the senior project leader for a variety of consulting projects at home and abroad.

In mid-1999 Mr Goedhart took over as CEO of equitrust AG in Hamburg, where he built up their investment and fund business. Among the most famous holdings of equitrust AG was Ersol Solar Energy AG of Erfurt, one of the world's leading manufacturers of photovoltaic wafers, solar cells and modules.

Since 1 November 2006, Felix Goedhart has been CEO of Capital Stage AG, the largest independent solar farm operator in Germany.

Furthermore, since January 2003, Mr Goedhart has been serving as a member of the board at Gottfried Schultz GmbH & Co. of Ratingen, the largest independent VW, Audi and Porsche dealer in Germany, and is a member of the advisory boards at both BlueTec GmbH & Co. KG based in Trendelburg and GBA Gesellschaft für Bioanalytik Hamburg mbH in Hamburg. 

Dr. Jochen Herbst

Dr. Jochen Herbst has over 15 years of professional experience in the fields of law and science. Besides working as a scientific assistant and employee at the universities of Cologne and Würzburg, Dr. Herbst acquired many years of experience practicing law at the New York and Düsseldorf offices of the international law firm Shearman & Sterling. Later he worked as an equity partner at a mid-sized firm in Düsseldorf before becoming a partner at the Düsseldorf cooperate law firm KLUTH.

Since 2003, Dr. Herbst has also been a visiting lecturer of European and international commercial law at the University of Cologne. He is also the (co-) author of numerous legal articles and two books. His most recent monograph is an international commercial law textbook published by the C. F. Müller Verlag.

Dr. Herbst’s legal practice is specialised in corporate, capital market and investment law. He also does extensive consulting work in private equity, venture capital, funds, M&A as well as joint ventures. His experience covers a wide range of sectors, including biotechnology, life sciences, renewable energies, the chemical industry and consulting firms.

Martin Völz

After training as a banker, Martin Völz studied economics from 1994 to 1998 at the Carl von Ossietzky University in Oldenburg, Germany and graduated from the University of Wyoming in Laramie (USA) with a Master of Business Administration/USA (MBA/USA). He also holds a Masters in Commercial Law (LLM) from Saarland University, with certification in labour, commercial and corporate law as pursuant to the German Fachanwaltsordnung (Professional Code of Conduct for Specialist Lawyers).

After beginning his professional career as a consultant with the consulting firm PriceWaterhouseCoopers, Mr Völz worked as a project manager at both SCHÜCO International KG and Mainova AG.

Since 2004, he has been working for BeteiligungsHolding Hanau GmbH as Head of Corporate Development and Assistant to the Board. Mr Völz is also an authorised signatory and commercial manager at BAUprojekt Hanau GmbH and Hanau Energiedienstleistungen- und -managementgesellschaft GmbH, respectively, both part of the group operating company, Hanau GmbH.

Dr. Zoltan Bognar

Dr. Zoltan Bognar started his professional career as a lawyer at the corporate law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in Hamburg. In 1996, he changed to the management consulting sector as Senior Project Manager at McKinsey & Company in Hamburg and Tokio, amongst others. There, his area of responsibility included working with large firms from the electronic engineering and glass industries.

From 2002, Mr. Bognar contributed his experience as partner to Inventages Venture Capital S.A. in Lausanne, followed by a career as principal at H.I.G. Capital in London and Hamburg between 2007 and 2009.

Since January 2010, Mr. Bognar has been a board member of Capital Stage AG in Hamburg. Capital Stage AG is a listed private equity firm, which invests into companies and projects from the cleantech sector. 

Olaf Lüdemann

The graduate economist Olaf Lüdemann spent the beginning of his professional career specialising in the business areas of private equity and corporate finance transactions. As such, he was initially responsible for setting up the area of corporate finance at Hamburger Sparkasse (Hamburg Savings Bank) as well as the affiliate company, where he transacted investments in technological and start-up enterprises. Subsequently, Olaf Lüdemann then changed to Delbrück & Co. private bankers, where he directed the Northern German Corporate Finance Team and was responsible for the private equity and mezzanine transactions for medium-sized enterprises.

Since 2002, he has been one of those responsible for the private equity and mezzanine transactions at Lampe Corporate Finance, Ltd, which belongs to the Lampe Banking House. Since then, Mr. Lüdemann has carried out numerous transactions, especially in the area of renewable energies, and accompanied many portfolio enterprises for many years until exit. Utilizing this wide-ranging experience, Mr. Lüdemann in 2007 co-initiated the largest German affiliate company exclusively specialising in renewable energies - Conetwork Erneuerbare Energien Holding GmbH & Co. KGaA (“CEE”/Conetwork Renewable Energies Holding, Ltd.) - and is currently serving as its Managing Director.
