inventux Solar Technologies:Awards

And the winner is...Inventux

Inventux and its products have already received numerous awards – despite the relatively short company history.

The Intersolar AWARD recognises outstanding and groundbreaking innovations by national and international companies in the solar industry. An independent panel of judges from research, science, industry and trade press select the winners from the fields of “Solar Thermal”, “Photovoltaics” and “PV Production Technology”. This is the second time Inventux has made it into the final round for this prominent award in the category of “Photovoltaics”. The fiXflat mounting system for flat roofs has been selected as one of the ten best innovations of the year.

The Deutsche Gründerpreis (German Founders Award) is the most prestigious award in recognition of exceptional companies in Germany. The award acknowledges exemplary achievements in the development of innovative and viable business ideas and in setting up new businesses. Inventux has made it into the Top 3 in the “Climbers” category. In the eyes of the Gründerpreis (German Founders Award) jury, Inventux is one of the most successful young companies in Germany. The partners, “stern” magazine, the Sparkasse Financial Group, the German public TV station ZDF and Porsche, have been promoting excellence with the award since 1997 in the categories of "Schools", "StartUps", "Climbers" and "Life’s Work".

“CleanTech Driver” certification is awarded to companies who successfully combine the ecological and economic aspects of business into sustainable development, while meeting the increasing demand for goods and services with a carefully managed, finite supply of natural resources. For the third time in as many years, the German CleanTech Institute (CDTI) has awarded Inventux its seal of approval in 2011 for the company's commitment to improving its processes and products in an effort to eliminate hazardous substances and promote resource conservation during product manufacture.

International Forum Design honours all types of outstanding accomplishments in design in six equally important and independent competitions every year. Since its introduction in 1953, the iF product design award has become one of the most noted categories and is recognised around the world as a hallmark of excellent design. 2,756 products from 43 countries were considered for this year’s award. Inventux won the red dot design award in early 2010 and now, in receiving this award, has joined the ranks of well-known prize recipients such as Samsung, Apple and Sony.

The Design Award of the Federal Republic of Germany is the country's highest distinction in the field of design - it is known as the "Prize of Prizes". The reason: no other design award sets such strict criteria on entries. Thus, a company can only enter the competition for the Design Award if its product has already been awarded a national or international design prize. Another precondition for entry is that companies must have been nominated by the Ministries and Senators of the Federal States or by the Federal Ministry of Economics and Technology.

Organised every year by Ernst & Young, the “Entrepreneur of the Year" business award has increasingly become one of the most coveted awards in recent years due to its discerning, multi-stage nomination process. As a particularly innovative company with outstanding potential for the future, Inventux was a second-time finalist for the award.
